Blue Ceramic Alumina
Ceramic Alumina is a high-performance, industrial-grade abrasive featuring high hardness, excellent toughness, and superior self-sharpening properties. During grinding, it continuously exposes fresh cutting edges, maintaining sharp and efficient cutting performance while significantly improving productivity and extending service life.
Compared with conventional brown fused alumina and white fused alumina abrasives, ceramic alumina provides stronger cutting performance, lower wear rates, and better heat resistance, making it particularly suitable for high-hardness metals and precision component machining.

✅ Higher Equipment Requirements
For best results, use an industrial-grade sandblasting machine with an air compressor that provides sufficient airflow. Smaller equipment may deliver lower blasting efficiency.
✅ Faster Nozzle Wear
Due to the high hardness of ceramic alumina, boron carbide or tungsten carbide nozzles are recommended.
✅ Not Recommended for Soft Metals
Soft metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, gold, and silver may be excessively etched or damaged.
✅ Choose the Correct Grit Size
Coarse Grit: Heavy rust and scale removal
Medium Grit: General rust removal and surface roughening
Fine Grit: Precision components and matte finishing
✅ Use an Effective Abrasive Recovery System
Ceramic alumina can be reused multiple times. Proper recovery and recycling can significantly reduce operating costs.
✅ Avoid Mixing with Other Abrasives
Mixing different abrasives may affect surface finish consistency and blasting performance.
✅ Protect Against Moisture
Moisture may cause the abrasive to clump, resulting in inconsistent abrasive flow.
✅ Use Proper Dust Protection
Wear safety goggles and appropriate respiratory protection, and use a suitable dust collection system during operation.
